πŸŽ’πŸ“š National School Backpack Awareness Day πŸ“šπŸŽ’

Today we highlight the importance of wearing backpacks the right way to keep our students safe and healthy! Heavy or improperly worn backpacks can cause back and shoulder strain.

βœ… Choose a backpack that fits your child properly.
βœ… Pack the heaviest items closest to the back.
βœ… Encourage students to use both shoulder straps.

At Berryville School District, we care about the well-being of our studentsβ€”on and off the bus, in and out of the classroom. Let’s work together to keep those backpacks safe and comfortable! πŸ’œ

We also want to recognize our Certified ASL Interpreter, Valerie Deen, for the daily support she provides to the students, the staff and our classrooms.

For our students, this day is a reminder of the importance of kindness, unity, and courage β€” values that continue to shape our future.
