Today we highlight the importance of wearing backpacks the right way to keep our students safe and healthy! Heavy or improperly worn backpacks can cause back and shoulder strain.
β Choose a backpack that fits your child properly.
β Pack the heaviest items closest to the back.
β Encourage students to use both shoulder straps.
At Berryville School District, we care about the well-being of our studentsβon and off the bus, in and out of the classroom. Letβs work together to keep those backpacks safe and comfortable! π

π§ββοΈπ September is Deaf Awareness Month!
This month, we recognize and celebrate the rich history, language, and culture of the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Itβs also a reminder of the importance of inclusion, accessibility, and understanding.
At Berryville School District, we believe every studentβs voice mattersβwhether spoken, signed, or written!
We also want to recognize our Certified ASL Interpreter, Valerie Deen, for the daily support she provides to the students, the staff and our classrooms.

Today our school community takes time to reflect on the events of September 11th. We honor the lives lost, the bravery of first responders, and the strength of our nation in the days that followed.
For our students, this day is a reminder of the importance of kindness, unity, and courage β values that continue to shape our future.
May we always remember and learn from history together.
