Bobcat Academy Families:
Thank you for partnering with us to begin the after-school program for students in grades K-5. Our first few days have been exciting and we are looking forward to making this a very successful program. Beginning on Monday, September 11, all students will be in the intermediate school for after school services. Students in grades K-2 will go to the elementary cafeteria as soon as school is dismissed (the same as they have done this week) and the teachers will take them to the intermediate school for activities and tutoring. This will be the procedure for the remainder of the year. All students will be picked up at the intermediate school (car riders and students riding buses) at the usual dismissal time of 5:30.
Reminders:
- There are two site coordinators for the program. Jill Jones (available Mondays and Wednesdays) and Pam Forga (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
- If you were unable to attend the parent meeting on August 22, make sure that you have reviewed the Bobcat Academy Handbook and completed all of the required forms.
- Students are expected to attend from 3:15 until dismissal. If a student has to be checked out early, parents should notify the site coordinator (Mrs. Jill Jones, jjones@bobcat.k12.ar.us or Ms. Pam Forga, pforga@bobcat.k12.ar.us) in advance. (Refer to the handbook. This pertains to non-emergency situations.)
- The handbook and forms can be found on the district website or paper copies will be provided upon request.
